  • Artist or song references for inspiration.

  • The intended use (album track, single, sync licensing, content, brand).

3. Core Production Elements

• Go over the key elements you want in the production:

  • Tempo range (slow, mid, fast).

  • Instrument choices (live instruments, synths, sampled sounds).

  • Beat structure (intro, hook length, bridge).

  • Energy progression (build-ups, drops, transitions).

4. Deal Breakers / Must-Haves

• Identify non-negotiables:

  • Specific instruments or sounds you must have.

  • Elements to avoid completely.

  • Vocal space considerations (how much room you want in the mix).

5. Budget & Timeline

• Discuss your budget so we can tailor the production level (basic beat vs. full arrangement).

• Outline turnaround time and any important deadlines (e.g., release dates).

6. Next Steps

• I’ll create a production outline based on our discussion.

• Share a quote and project timeline.

• Once the deposit is received, production begins.
